BulletProof Hitches Frame-Mounted Hitch Stabilizer Bars For Heavy Towing

To complete a proper towing setup with a drop hitch, we offer our frame-mounted hitch stabilizer kit. The stabilizer bars are made for any BulletProof Hitch with 8" of drop or more, though may be used with 6" drops in some custom cases, such as seen in this photo. These bars will attach to a point on the hitch that will spread to two points that attach to each side of the vehicle's frame. Manufactured of steel, just like our other hitches and accessories means this system is just one more way to add the necessary strength your existing towing setup. The addition of these bars to your drop hitch will help in two main ways: 1) the leverage normally put on the hitch and hitch receiver when towing with a drop hitch will be spread across more points, meaning a safer towing experience and less chance of bending the hitch receiver or frame of the vehicle. 2) the stabilizer bars will keep the hitch securely in place in your receiver and eliminate any play the hitch may have. This play can be exaggerated with the use of a long drop hitch, however with the hitch remaining stationary and unable to moved side-to-side or up-and-down, the hitch can do a better job of keeping the trailer moving straight as well which will also help to reduce trailer sway.
